Looking for paint protection film near Minneapolis? PPF is a thick urethane film that takes the rock chips instead of your paint — which matters most on Minnesota highways in spring. Choose gloss for shine, matte for a stealth finish, or color PPF. Certified installers for ULTRAFIT, STEK, SunTek and LLumar. Free loaner while yours is with us.
What is Paint Protection Film?
Paint protection film is a clear urethane layer bonded over your paint. It absorbs rock chips, the sand blasted up off winter roads, and the scuffs that collect around door edges and mirrors. Light scratches in the film close back up with heat. From a few feet away you cannot see it.

WHY CHOOSE MATTE PPF?
Matte PPF gives paint a flat satin finish with the same chip protection as gloss film. It changes how the car looks without a repaint, and it can be removed later.
Paint Protection Film Packages
Coverage runs from the front bumper and hood edge all the way to every painted panel on the car. Most drivers start with the front end, since that is where highway debris lands. If you keep cars a long time or put on a lot of interstate miles, full coverage is the one that pays back.

What PPF Stops Before It Reaches Your Paint
Rock Chip Defense
The film takes the hit from gravel, salt chunks, and highway debris so the paint underneath stays original.
Self Healing Surface
Light swirls and wash marks close up on their own with warmth from the sun or from warm water.
Original Paint at Trade In
Road salt, bug acid, and winter grime never reach the clear coat, so the car still shows factory paint years later.
A full PPF job takes time to do right, and the usual objection is losing your car for days. We hand you a free loaner instead, which nobody else in this market does. Two locations, Spring Lake Park and Medina, both open Monday through Friday.

Paint Protection Film Process Overview
Surface Inspection
The process begins with inspecting painted surfaces to identify exposure areas, coverage needs, and current condition before installation planning begins for term protection results.
Paint Preparation
Painted panels are washed, decontaminated, and carefully prepared to ensure proper bonding and a clean foundation before film placement begins for consistent results across all painted surfaces.
Film Installation
The film is applied using a wet installation method, then positioned, squeegeed, and shaped to match each panel with attention to alignment and edge control during installation.
Final Inspection
Edges, clarity, and alignment are reviewed to confirm clean placement before curing, ensuring the film settles correctly and the vehicle is ready for release after installation completion.
Ultrafit Paint Protection Film Technology
ULTRAFIT is one of the PPF lines we install, alongside STEK, SunTek and LLumar. It stays clear instead of yellowing, self heals light marks, and holds its edges through freeze and thaw cycles and repeated trips through a heated car wash.
- Strong clarity with durable surface structure
- Designed for long-term exterior stability
- Self-healing surface reduces light marks
- Maintains factory paint appearance

To keep your film looking great, please follow the guidelines below:
Wait 48 hours after installation to wash your vehicle.
Remove insect or other stains as soon as possible with a Film Cleaner.
Stubborn stains can be removed with 99% isopropyl alcohol. Take care to keep these chemicals off the vehicle’s paint.
Seal with a Protection Film Sealant at least once every 3 months to preserve high gloss. Installation instructions here:Sealant Instructions
Light scratches in the film will self-heal in 20-30 minutes at room temperature. In colder conditions, or to accelerate the process, pour warm water (120°F) over the affected area.
Avoid using a pressure washer or high-pressure water source near the edges of the film, it can cause the film to lift and/or become damaged
Detailing Clay can be used to remove contaminants that are on the film.
Imperfections: We strive for perfection on all our installations. Dust, dirt, lint or other contamination can be hard to see during installation. We thoroughly clean all car panels before film is applied. Pre-existing flaws or scratches and metal deposits on paint are often more noticeable after PPF is installed.
Fuel Spills: Wipe off immediately to avoid degrading the vinyl and adhesive. Wash, rinse and dry as soon as possible.
Products to Avoid:
Never EVER use any of the following cleaning products on your wrap:
Solvents Oil based cleaners
Kitchen & oven cleaners
Bathroom Cleaners
Orange and Citrus Oils
Engine Degreasers
Clear and matte PPF carry a ten (10) year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Colored films typically carry eight (8) years depending on the brand. Covered defects include: yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering and delaminating. This warranty does not extend coverage to damage caused by normal wear and tear, road debris impact, accidents, collisions or intentional damage of any kind.
Claims Process:
To file a claim, first attempt to contact the manufacturer.
Limitations:
The warranty and remedies described above are the exclusive warranties available. Authorized installers do not have authorization to modify or extend the warranty in any fashion. The ppf manufacturer will be solely responsible for determining validity of all claims and reserves the right to deny claims that do not meet the criteria as described above. The replacement of the defective film, including parts and labor, is the exclusive remedy; liability does not extend to any other damages, incidental, consequential, or otherwise. Reimbursement for labor charges covered by this warranty will be made directly to the installer and will be calculated by using the coverage allowance published by the manufacturer.
A partial front takes about an hour. A full front is about an hour and a half — closer to three on a truck. The high impact track package runs about four hours, and a full vehicle takes about eight and a half, so plan on leaving the car for the day. Panels are prepped and film edges are tucked before you pick it up.
